Terms of Service

    Last updated: 24 May 2026.

    1. Service description

Artifakt Vigilance (the "Service") aggregates publicly available medical device safety data from multiple regulatory and scientific sources and provides search, comparison, and AI-assisted analysis features. The Service is intended for use by medical device regulatory affairs, quality, and clinical professionals.

    2. Not regulatory or medical advice

Output from the Service, including AI-generated analyses, summaries, and report drafts, is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute regulatory, medical, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for verifying all data and conclusions against primary sources before relying on them for any regulatory submission, business decision, or clinical action.

    3. Account and acceptable use

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You agree not to:

    • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls.
    • Submit content intended to mislead the AI features or generate fabricated regulatory outputs.
    • Resell or redistribute the Service or its output without written permission.
    • Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm third parties.

    4. AI features and accuracy

The Service uses third-party generative AI to produce summaries and draft regulatory text. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent. You acknowledge that you are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before any downstream use. See our Privacy Policy for which providers process your inputs.

    5. Data sources

The underlying data is drawn from public regulatory databases (FDA, MHRA, BfArM, etc.) and scientific repositories (PubMed, Europe PMC, ClinicalTrials.gov, NVD). We make no warranty as to the completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of upstream data. Data is cached for performance and may not reflect the latest source state.

    6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if the Service is discontinued. You may delete your account at any time via the account page or by contacting hello@artifaktmedical.com.

    7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artifakt Vigilance and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of profits, regulatory penalties, or business interruption.

    8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active account holders at least 14 days before they take effect.

    9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and applicable European Union law. Any dispute arising from them will be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic, at the registered seat of the controller in Prague.
